Bye-Bye Beards. This is the New Fav Facial Hair Style in Montana

Sorry, hipsters. Your full beard is so 2009.

The ultra-manly beard is no longer the hottest facial hair style in Montana, according to data gathered by Casinos.com. Like all fashion trends, what’s popular when it comes to facial hair seems to revolve every decade or so, as do hairstyles; for example, the mullet seems to be enjoying a moment again.

#1 – Mustache

Mustaches have always had their loyal followers (cowboys, cops, firefighters, porn stars, and that groovy dude stuck in the 70s). Still, the versatile upper-lip whiskers have reclaimed the top spot in popularity in Montana.

#2 The Van Dyke

An interesting cross between a goatee, a chin beard, and a mustache, celebrities and normal dudes have been bringing this classic back in 2023. You don’t have to add the fun little pointy tips (as seen above) but why not go for it?

#3 Goatee

The 3rd most popular style of facial hair in Montana for 2023 is the goatee. This style just keeps hanging on, with fans from all walks of life. Truck drivers, bikers, rednecks, and frat dudes holding onto 1998 will all rock their goatees with confidence. Easily modified into a Fu Manchu with a quick swipe of the trimmers, you’ll find plenty of goats in Montana.

Goats are taking over.

We’re not the only state enjoying goatees. The authors of the report note that the style is the top search in 15 states. They wrote,

The goatee emerged as the nation’s favorite facial hair style in 2023 in terms of search volume. For the purposes of this study, the classic mustache, as well as various variations of the mustache (i.e. English mustache), were measured but treated as separate styles. Stubble, soul patches, the mustache, and the now old-fashioned clean-shaven look all performed well in terms of popularity.

We’re just waiting for the day when mutton chops experience a resurgence of popularity.
